Interim Youth Director
Youth Pastor: Trent Smith

Calvary Baptist Church Youth Ministry's purpose is to connect every student to God through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Students who have are in 6th through 12th grade are invited to attend and we meet in the Fellowship Hall in the church.  Come to the eastside of the building and you will see a the office door.  You can get there through that door.

It is our prayer at CBC that your youth truly embrace Jesus as their source of life in this crazy world. We offer several weekly activities along as events throughout the year. Most of our youth activities are "all youth" opportunities, but occasional when we feel necessary, we will divide by gender, age, or both. We feel we all have something to teach each other and whenever possible we do "all youth" activities because we are one group, not many.

Weekly Activities

Wednesday Nights

CBC Youth Group - 5:00 to 8:30 p.m..  - Wednesday nights consist of a many elements. The first is fellowship. Students are free to play board games, video games, or just hangout in talk. At 6:00 students play what we like to call "Dumb Game Time." Dumb Game Time is a time to play a silly game together which is a huge bonding activity. Games are sometimes just silly but many other times games relate to the bible lesson that night. After Dumb Game Time, students dive into a bible study lead by Trent Smith. Students are encourage, equipped, and challenged to live their lives for Christ and if students do not know Christ, they are encouraged to surrender their lives for Christ. After the bible study, students who attended the Bible Study will receive a free meal and then continue in free time fellowship.

Yearly Events

Winter Jam:

February or March - TBA  - CBC Youth Group attends the Concert experience every year called Winter Jam. We will go and be back home about midnight.  We enjoy this event because it shows students that Christian Music is not at all boring but alive, fun, but also moving. The event also has a preacher that gives a short sermon to the students. We enjoy staying the night in the hotel because this allows the sponsors to discuss any decisions they made during the concert and to reflect on what God spoke over our students. In the past, this event has been life altering for many of our students and one of our most popular events. We will be going on April 1st, 2017 and leaving the church parking lot here at 9:00 a.m.
